“When it comes to Taryn’s talent and work, I truly have no words that give it justice. Prior to meeting Taryn, my family had worked with several different photographers in an effort to find the ‘right one’. In addition to our photos sometimes coming up ‘short’ of our expectations, my husband was often annoyed with the format, seriousness, and time it took to take photos, and my son was incredibly impatient. Photos always seemed to be a negative and dreadful experience for my house.
Our experience with photos since meeting Taryn couldn’t be more different than prior. Our first shoot with her was our birth announcement photos on the beach. After just our sneak peek, I knew Taryn would have our business forever. Not only were the photos incredible, authentic, and so story telling - but my husband left saying “that was the easiest photo shoot we have ever taken”. Since then, Taryn has shot our maternity photos, Christmas card photos, and our fresh 48 newborn photos. All of which have far beyond exceeded our expectations.
Taryn always comes with a vision of her own, and a mood board/photo inspiration but she also makes certain that she is achieving all of my visions and ideas for the photo shoot, leaving nothing out. Taryn has an unbelievable ability to catch the moments you didn’t even realize were happening and that is one of the many reasons we love her. Some of our favorite photos that come from our photoshoots we have shared with her have been perfectly shot candid moments that capture our family perfectly.
Simply put, I can’t say enough good things about Taryn. She can always accommodate our schedule (even coming to shoot our fresh 48 photos in the hospital between two other shoots before we got discharged). She is wildly talented. She is true to herself and her vision, but in a way that she is able to perfectly capture your ideas and dreams. She offers poses without feeling like they are portraits, and effortlessly forces fluidity between them.. She is beyond patient with children AND husbands. And her editing is both quick and efficient.
Selfishly, I want to keep Taryn for myself for the rest of time. But truly, you’d be silly to not choose her.”
